Although your items can be viewed before the auction starts, the "Buy It Now" button will not be visible/available or live until the auction actually starts.  

Also, make sure you have entered in the intended value for the Buy It Now option on your items IF you want that feature available to your bidders.

To edit the Buy It Now option go to Items > Item Management > click on an item to edit it
