24 HOURS FROM AUCTION END
Bidders normally pay for their items within 24 hours from the end of your auction. After 24 hrs, you are able to send them an email/text reminder to pay through your manager page via Communications > Email > Unpaid Bidders. Here is some verbiage you are welcome to use, adjust, copy, and paste into your communication...
"As a Bidder, you are able to checkout through your Item(s) Won email notification or through your Bidder account.
If you did not receive your winning notification please check your SPAM folder, otherwise, you can access your Bidder account to check out at any time via BiddingOwl.com > Bidder Sign In.
To check out, click on any of the shopping carts in the checkout section at the top of your "My Bids" page to complete the checkout process."
48 HOURS FROM AUCTION END
Send out an email/text communication through your manager page via Communications > Send Email > Unpaid Bidders, to your remaining unpaid bidders stating that their items must be paid for by your deadline date/time or they will be awarded to the next highest bidder.
WHAT IF A WINNER DOES NOT PAY?
If you are not able to contact the winner and they have not paid for their items by your deadline date/time you are able to delete their bid(s) and the system will automatically award the item(s) to the next highest bidder and send them a winner's notification.
DELETING A BID(S)
There are very few reasons that an Auction Chairperson and/or Manager would need to delete a bid/ticket for a bidder. However, it does happen.
You can delete a bid via Bidders > Bidder Management > Click on the "Bidder Name" > Check the checkbox next to the bid to be deleted > click on the red "X" and confirm.
Please note: If you have trouble deleting bids/tickets, it is very likely that you are using INTERNET EXPLORER. Please DO NOT use IE when using BiddingOwl. We suggest Google Chrome.
If there is anything that we can assist you with regarding the checkout process please let us know. We are happy to help.
